Some thoughts on costume as provided by existing players:
"Well I think that the best thing to put on a 'what to wear to your first session' list, is that you can wear pretty much anything. Since the place is meant to be a nightclub, there is nothing stopping someone just turning up in whatever they might ordinarily wear on an evening out..."
"At the most basic level I would recommend that your costume is something you would NEVER wear in real day to day life and differentiate yourself and your character.
That's when it's costume and not just you clothes so effort end effect happen.
It's more important to the wearer that the watcher if that makes sense. Charity shops are fab and stitch things together or if you can't sew tie them together in a funky new way with a bit of spray paint..."
